If that's true then I've just paid £250 to kill my perfectly working XP system and lose the use of all my expensive applications which do not run correctly or at all under Vista. Wow sounds really great to me. So how else can I create a dual boot system apart from buying a second PC? The key word here is 'upgrade'.

In stark contrast Microsoft have just released Windows Vista, probably the most resource hungry Operating System ever, for the PC platform. am hoping to never upgrade my Windows XP laptop to Vista. I am hedging my bets on Linux and Wine improving to where I can abandon Windows before XP is no longer supported.
